Those who are interested, may want to check out Lester Brown's Eco-Economy: Building an Economy for the Earth. Though the book is now nine years old, he makes some good points, positing that corporate interests need to put a high value on natural resources, as without them, the ability to create products vanishes. This seems like a practical way to talk environmentalism in a private sector fashion.

In Honor of Earth Day

Because I need to jump on the wagon like everyone else, I thought I'd share a few interesting pieces about Earth Day, global warming, etc.

The first piece I saw was on Salon today and discusses technological fixes to global warming.

That reminded me of a similar discussion in The Atlantic last summer.

Finally, Huffington Post gives some historical context to the day and the problems we face, past and present.
