Despite having a degree in Film Production, I'm not as head-over-heels for documentary films as a lot of people I know. Additionally, when it comes to smart phones, I opted for the Motorola Droid over the iPhone (both because I love everything Google and dislike most things Apple). However, I stand corrected when it comes to 156 Turns, a three and a half minute look at the 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb shot entirely on the iPhone 4 with no color correction. While I'm not entirely captivated by the subject matter (and it does play up the Ducati and iPhone thing a bit much), the fact that the phone's camera can make such high quality stuff means that only bigger things are on the horizon for future artists trying to make their own films. Kudos to Director Seth Schaeffer and his crew!
