You Mean We're Supposed To Research Candidates?!?!
This explanation of why a woman voted for Alvin Greene in the SC Democratic primary is appalling, but (sadly) not incredibly surprising. I'm sure plenty of people hop into a voting booth before finding out who the candidates are and what they stand for, but I've got to ask: if you felt so compelled by civic duty to show up and vote in a primary, why didn't you feel so compelled to do your homework beforehand?
